BELXX ® Spin Step All-In-One 2" Hitch Ball Mount 7-1/4" Drop and Tailgate Step (SS2700BK). Combination hitch ball mount and tailgate step allows easy access to your truck bed. Patented step design remains installed at all times, even while towing, allowing access to the tailgate step in seconds. Over one square foot of surface and a 600 lb. weight limit ensures a sturdy and safe transition. Embossed step design provides slip resistance while still gentle enough for dogs or bare feet. Towing capacity of 6,000 lbs. and 600 lb. tongue weight satisfies most towing needs. In 2001, Wade Erickson invented the combination between the hitch ball mount and tailgate step as a response to other inferior products on the market. In 2012, under the brand name Elephant Stand, This product was chosen from more than 2,000 products that were entered into the New Product Showcase at (SEMA) show as one of the top new products in the Van, Pickup and Sports Utility category. In 2015, Wade licensed his product to Blue Square Products and the BELXX™ Spin Step was born after several successful years of selling the Elephant Stand with a series of careful and selective improvements.
